Heartsbeats: Music For Japan

More Islanders are coming out in support of those affected by the tragic Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Heartbeats project created by Island based producer, Price (aka Toby Godwin) and Rob Orme (a producer and record label owner otherwise known as Submerse).

Toby told VB how the idea to produce a compilation album, a mixture of drum & bass, dubstep, techno, house and garage, came shortly after the tragedy of the Japanese earthquake struck last weekend. Very quickly he pulled together a team of producers to create Heartbeats.

34 tracks for a fiver
The album features 34 tracks by various different producers and bands.

The download costs just £5 and Toby tells us that all money will go to the Red Cross Japan campaign. When they’ve hit a certain amount or period of time they’ll be choosing the most relevant charity they feel are doing the most for the people in need.

The collaboration includes Andy Bee (owner of Slime Recordings) and Matt Preston (producer known as Phaeleh) and NightAudio.

You can check out the download before buying, but for just a fiver why no0t just download it.

The compilation can be downloaded from HeartBeats.
