As forecast by the Met Office, heavy rain hit parts of the Isle of Wight at the weekend.
Residents in Binstead experienced flooding to properties when drains could not cope with the heavy rainfall.
The photos below, sent in by VB reader Colin McGough, gives you an idea of what firefighters and residents had to deal with on Saturday afternoon.
Fire crew were also called out to Green Lane in Lake after a drain reportedly collapsed due to the heavy rain. A section of the road remains closed resulting in diversions.
Our thoughts go out to anyone affected by the flooding.
