Ryde Neighbourhoods Policing Team (NPT) are investigating a series of vehicle crimes, and are encouraging anyone with CCTV or Doorbell camera footage to make contact with police.
The incidents have reportedly occurred some time between the evening of 8th January and the morning of 10th January this year.
22 reports of vehicles broken into
At present we have had 22 reports of vehicles broken into across Ryde and Binstead, Oakfield and Elmfield, and three reports of vehicles being stolen. The three stolen vehicles have since been recovered.
Some of the targeted vehicles were left unlocked, and thieves have predominantly been stealing loose change from inside.

Anyone who has been affected or who has any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44230013113, or to submit information via our Website.
NPT officers have been making enquiries this week and scoping CCTV footage.

In the meantime, we are asking anyone who has footage of these incidents and has not yet spoken to police to please respond to this survey and we will arrange the best possible means to recover any footage from you.
