Here’s who is paid over £100,000 at Isle of Wight council during 2020/21

There are six staff roles at Isle of Wight council which pay more than £100,000 per annum.

Information released by the Tax Payers’ Alliance today (Wednesday) reveals the salaries of the top six staff members at County Hall during the financial year 2020/21.

Two departures
Two members of staff have since left, Dr Carol Tozer and John Metcalfe, but as can be seen by the table below, their pension contributions for the year are more than some people on the Island earn.

Wendy Perera is now interim Chief Executive following John Metcalfe’s departure at the end of March. Laura Gaudion is the interim Director of Adult Social Care.

Chris Potter, the Director of Corporate Services, was the lowest earner of the bunch.
