Last month, OnTheWight ran a story about Rebecca Pask, who’d come to the Isle of Wight as a child with the family of her best friend.
Whilst here, a group of the kids had their photo taken somewhere along the coast. Rebecca asked for readers’ help in locating where it was.
The story continues that years later, Rebecca met a chap in a bar one night and after they’d been dating for a couple of weeks, it emerged he was the lad sitting next to her in the Isle of Wight snap taken 16 years before.
Married with three children
One thing led to another and the couple are now married with three kids of their own. Last week, they returned to the Isle of Wight for a family holiday.
Thanks to the help of eagle-eyed readers, they were able to pose for a photo in the same spot as the one taken all those years ago.
A bonus to the story is that whilst on holiday, it was their little boy’s eighth birthday
