Zoe Barker with Re-Box gallery

Iconic Ryde art space Re:Box highlights local talent on BBC feature

The Isle of Wight’s smallest art gallery hit the TV screens last week when it was featured on BBC South Today.

BBC reporter Simon Marks visited Re:Box on Lind Street to find out more about the latest exhibition, which features caricatures of well-known people, all of whom have an Isle of Wight connection.

Simon spoke with Adam Brown, the most recent artist to exhibit at Re:Box, as well as Zoe Barker, one of the founders of the smallest art gallery.

An ‘iconic piece of Ryde’
Passersby shared their praise for the project, which helps put smiles on people’s faces, and it was even referred to as an ‘iconic piece of Ryde’. What a great accolade!

Earlier in the year the smallest art gallery on the Island celebrated its second anniversary with a tribute to some of the Museum of Ryde’s relics.
