ICRTouch, a leading provider of EPoS software based in Sandown, has been working on a collaborative project with the Isle of Wight council Library Services.
As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to empowering young people on the Isle of Wight to explore digital industries, the ICRTouch team has been working to bolster numbers of, and improve access to, educational resources.
Broaden access to tech industries
CEO of ICRTouch, Colin Ringer, has said,
“Our primary objective has been to broaden access for young people to a wealth of knowledge in fields such as computer science, information technology, coding and software development.”
Curated list of reading resources
Through consultation with educational institutions, ICRTouch and the Isle of Wight council have curated a list of reading resources that comprises approximately 100 books which are now available at local libraries.
These cater to learners of all ages, spanning from the age of just 4, to university-level students.
Available across the Island
The new resources will be housed at both Lord Louis Library in Newport and Ryde Library, but are available to order at any of the libraries across the Island, including Cowes, Freshwater, Sandown, Ventnor and the five community libraries.

Libraries and Heritage Service Manager, Corina Westwood has thanked ICRTouch,
