The weather on the Isle of Wight today seems a world away from the torrential rain and gale force winds of Friday.
A lot has happened since then too, with the tragic evacuation of nine properties on Undercliff Drive due to further landslide and the arrival of the military on Saturday afternoon to advise on flooding defences.
Island Roads have said this morning their street cleansing team is working its way around the Island’s seafronts to clear the sand and stones from the surrounding roads.
