Thanks to OnTheWight reader, Seb, for letting us know that National Learn to Play Day takes place across the nation tomorrow (Saturday 12th April).
The purpose of the day is to encourage the general public to take part in free “taster” lessons on a musical instrument.
We couldn’t find any venues listed as taking part on the Island, but if you’re planning to head over the water tomorrow, you could pop into venues in Southampton or Portsmouth to take part.
Learn to Play Day is organised by ‘Music for All’, a charity for the UK musical instrument industry.
