With just two and half weeks to go until the Isle of Wight Film Festival hits Ventnor (as part of the Ventnor Fringe Festival), we’ve got some more features confirmed for the line-up.
We’re looking forward to watching the two programmes of Fuji Short Films.
All the short films are shot entirely on Fuji Film and have been judged by Oscar winning directors.
They include films from as far afield as Morocco and the USA.
You can watch the Fuji Film shorts on Friday (17th) and Saturday (18th August) at 5pm each day.
Other features
Thursday 16th August brings another chance to see the Irish comedy, The Guard.
It tells the story of an unorthodox Irish policeman with a confrontational personality who teams up with an uptight FBI agent to investigate an international drug-smuggling ring.
Friday brings a love story to Ventnor. Like Crazy sees a British college student fall for an American student, only to be separated from him when she’s banned from the US after overstaying her visa.
You can book tickets for all of the above through the Isle of Wight Film Festival Website.
