It’s that time of year again, when everyone is frantically counting the pennies they’ve tucked away over the winter in order to purchase their summer festi tickets.
First up on the Island this year is, of course, the Isle of Wight Festival, which is on between 8th – 10th June at Seaclose Park, Newport.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9am initially ONLY from the VIRGIN RADIO DIRECTORY on 08707 30 1215 or beat the phone queues online
Tickets then go on general sale on Thursday from 9am from the following outlets:
TICKET ZONE / 08705 321 321 / Ticket Zone
For ticket & ferry packages:
REDFUNNEL / 0870 444 8898 / Red Funnel
WIGHTLINK / 0870 582 7744 / Wight Link
Nothing from HMV this year and apparently there are no early bird or Islander tickets.
If you’ve finished counting your pennies, here’s how much you’ll need.
Weekend camping adult £125
Weekend camping child £62.50
Weekend non-camping adult £105
Weekend non-camping child £52.50
Campervan pass £125
(*all prices are subject to booking fee)
Disabled purchasers must order festival tickets through Ticket Zone by calling 08705 321 321. Those who do not do this will not gain access to the disabled platform or car park.
More details about confirmed acts later in the week. John Giddings will apparently be chatting to Alex Dyke on IOW Radio later in the week.
Now … back to the politics.
