Island band Hentai Babies confirmed for Japanese tour

You might remember back in 2013 we wrote about the worldwide attention Isle of Wight three piece band Hentai Babies were attracting, including from the legendary Los Angeles’ DJ, Rodney Bingenheimer.

It’s not just Stateside where the band have been picking up fans, they’ve also been featured heavily on InterFM, Tokyo’s number one FM radio station over the last couple of years.

The band are a huge hit out there, being regularly featured on Japanese blogs building a loyal Japanese fan-base.

Booked for Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto
Bianca from the band told OnTheWight that they’d been asked to play a showcase in Japan last year, but couldn’t go at the time.

However, a fan in Tokyo suggested the band to a promoter and they’e now been booked for a three-city promo tour in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto later in the year.

A jubilant Bianca told OnTheWight the band can’t wait to get out there,

“Paul, our new drummer Jack, and myself are brushing up on our Japanese.”

Japan: Debt as % of GDP is >220%. Money is spent on infrastructure projects and that spending supports a strong economy. UK: Debt as % of GDP is about 90%. Money is being spent on unnecessary infrastructure projects (HS2, Trident) that do not support the economy. Economic growth is not being supported by targeted spending. Our central government’s (failing) drive to reduce national debt is undermining our… Read more »
