On the 27th October, Dave Dent of Wightlink-Offshore Racing Team and Arthur Venables of …a3crg headed over to Steyning, near Brighton, where they both competed in the 25 mile open time trial organised by Brighton Mitre CC.
The weather played a large part in the race, with the strong stormy winds causing powerful headwinds as well as crosswinds, which was also mixed with heavy rain, making the conditions extremely treacherous for the riders.
Dave Dent finished overall in sixth place with a 58:15, therefore taking the sixth place prize.
Arthur Venables finished well enough in the time trial to take the junior prize, by being the fastest junior rider.
