Isle Access is thrilled to announce the appointment of Steve Wells as their dedicated Cycling Coordinator.
Steve will spearhead the charity’s accessible cycling ‘Isle Riders’ events, providing unique opportunities for individuals and groups to become active members of the Isle Riders community.
These events are designed to include everyone, even those who cannot ride a traditional two-wheeled bike, ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of cycling.

£3,000 donation from WightAid
Isle Access are also delighted to share that they have been selected as a recipient of the IOW Randonee’s charitable donations for the second consecutive year. The generous £3,000 donation will be instrumental in establishing a new Cycling Club.
This club will create a welcoming environment where everyone can feel a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
Accessible swimming
In addition to our cycling initiatives, Isle Access is also now running a swimming club for disabled individuals. Hosted at The Heights in Sandown every Saturday, this club offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to enjoy swimming in a supportive and accessible environment.
This is all thanks to WightAid and their generous donation of £2,000, which will allow Isle Access to use both pools starting from 7th September. This support is crucial in helping to provide these essential services to the Island community.
Isle Access remains committed to promoting inclusivity and accessibility in all their activities. Everyone is invited to join them in these initiatives and help make a difference.
