Comment
Ian Dunsire (English Democrats Party) agrees
“The English Democrats support the introduction of a points-based immigration system now. Existing legal immigrants should be allowed to stay and integrate with English society. Illegals should be deported immediately.”

Bob Keats (Green Party) disagrees
“The management of illegal immigration is poor. Britain should be a place of refuge for those who need it and a place of work for those who can help us.”

Pete Harris (Independent) strongly agrees
“Close the doors now, a population headed for 70 million cannot be sustained and is causing much national anguish.”

Paul Martin (Middle England Party) strongly agrees
“It is painfully apparent it is unsustainable in its present form – we need a respite to get our borders back and stop the financial enticements & benefits system in its present form.”

Paul David Randle-Jolliffe (Independent) disagrees
“Its not so much the levels but the type of immigration that is to high, we are inviting people in who actually hate our way of life and refusing those that would add to our community, but Gov set this policy to social enegineer our country.”

Mark Chiverton  (Labour Party) is neutral
“The numbers of people coming into Britain are now being strongly controlled after a period when the figures have been higher. This is essential although we may sometimes need some specialist skills from overseas and should help genuine asylum seekers”

Michael Tarrant  (UK Independence Party – UKIP) strongly agrees
“Everyone knows this is true. We live in a fractured society with no sense of cohesion.”

Jill Wareham  (Liberal Democrats) agrees
“Unfortunately there has been no entry and exit controls by previous administrations and therefore we have no idea how many illegal immigrants there are in our country.”

Those who didn’t provide responses: Andrew Turner – Conservative, Geof Clynch – BNP and Edward Corby – Independent
