Calling Isle of Wight artists … It’s not too late to promote your Open Studios events to OnTheWight readers!
Open Studios events on the Isle of Wight (23rd August to 8th September) are a highlight for both Islanders and visitors, showcasing the incredible talent within our community. However, organising and promoting these events can be a daunting task for artists.
To help ease this burden, OnTheWight has introduced a special promotional package designed to increase visibility for your event, making it accessible to a wider audience.
Longstanding support for the Arts
OnTheWight has been a committed supporter of Open Studios and the broader arts scene on the Isle of Wight for many years. With a trusted readership and a broad reach, our platform offers artists the opportunity to connect with thousands of locals and visitors alike.
The promotional package, specifically tailored for Open Studios, aims to put your event in the spotlight, reaching a diverse audience who are keen to explore the Island’s creative offerings.
Effective promotion
Local artists have praised the impact of OnTheWight’s promotional efforts. Sue Paraskeva of Green Street Studio shared her positive experience, stating,
“For many years I have taken out promotion with OnTheWight to advertise both my own and group studio events.
“This has increased my visitor numbers and taken my work to a new audience.”
Chambers: They promote their subject with genuine passion and interest
Matthew Chambers of Binnel Studios echoed this sentiment, noting,
“OnTheWight are great supporters of arts and culture here on the Island.
“They promote their subject with genuine passion and interest, and it’s always a pleasure to advertise with them.”
Simple and cost-effective
Understanding the busy schedules of artists, OnTheWight has streamlined the process for signing up for this promotional package.
For a single payment of £49—down from the usual price of £59—artists can have their event featured on OnTheWight’s widely-read website, social media channels, and in the twice-daily email newsletter.
To get started, artists simply need to click the blue ‘Pay easily by card’ button. This will direct them to a secure payment page powered by Stripe. After completing the payment, they will be automatically redirected to a submission page to provide event details and any accompanying photos.
Once the details are submitted, OnTheWight will begin crafting an event feature to ensure maximum exposure.
A boost for your event
Promoting your Open Studios event through OnTheWight not only helps increase visitor numbers, but also introduces your work to a new and engaged audience. With our affordable and easy-to-use package, artists can focus on what they do best—creating—while we handle the promotion.
This opportunity provides a simple and effective way to make sure your event doesn’t go unnoticed during this busy time on the Isle of Wight.
