On Saturday last, the under 18 players from Bowls Isle of Wight, held their annual championships at Shanklin Bowling Club.
Eight eager young players turned up to participate, they played a seven end match “round robin” competition to come up with the top two players. These two played the final.
The finalists this year were Jack Berry and Travis Meller, both from Shanklin Bowling Club. This match turned out to be quite exiting, with both players showing their considerable skills.
In the end Jack managed to hold on and win.
