Twelve months on, the nightmarish carnage continues and the Isle of Wight branch of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign has been formed.
Last Saturday, in response to Israel’s breaking of the ceasefire, the PSC called for national demonstrations.
Young and old flying the flag
The group, who have been taking a stand in St Thomas’ Square, Newport, every single Saturday since October 2023, had increased support with young and old flying the flag.
A petition asking for the Isle of Wight council to divest themselves of any funds linked to companies investing in Israel was also circulated.
