Has your business had an outstanding year? Are you celebrating an exceptional 2023? It’s time to think about entering for an IW Chamber Business Award.
Presented at Cowes Yacht Haven on10th May, and sponsored once again by WightFibre, the Island’s most prestigious awards are judged by an impartial, independent judging panel. With 16 categories, there’s plenty to choose from.
The awards are open to any Isle of Wight business. You don’t have to be a Chamber member.
Chamber CEO Steven Holbrook, said,
“The IW Chamber Business Awards really set the standard on the Isle of Wight. Every year they are hotly contested, and the Island’s business community makes things difficult for our panel of independent judges, who are based on the Island, on the mainland and internationally. Businesses will be judged on their year and on their submission, by a panel of impartial business experts. Each year our shortlist spotlights the success of the Island’s economy and I’m sure 2024 will be no different. If you’ve never submitted before, this could be your year. Think carefully about the right categories to enter and tell your story well, supported by the data that the judges will need to see.
“I would urge every business to consider entering – to celebrate their own success and also to encourage analytical thinking and self-reflection. Entering for an award is a great way to measure and assess your business’ strengths and successes.”
This year sees the launch of the brand new Creative Impact Award. The Hospitality Business of the year category is now joined by the Tourism & Leisure Award.
WightFibre CEO John Irvine adds,
“WightFibre is delighted to support the Chamber in making the Chamber Business Awards THE highlight of the Island business calendar.
“This is the third year of our sponsorship and the Awards get bigger and better every year. The team at WightFibre encourages all business large and small to enter.
“You’ve got to be in it to win it!”
