Isle of Wight charity, MAD-Aid, celebrates ten years of delivering aid

For ten years, Island-based charity MAD-Aid has been collecting used medical equipment and disability aids for from St Mary’s hospital, Mountbatten and other local sources for delivery to Moldova, the poorest country in Europe.

Redistributing equipment to Moldovan hospitals and to disabled individuals saves the NHS and other organisations many thousands of pounds in storage and disposal and ensures that Moldovan people have a better quality of life both at home and in hospital.

Tenth anniversary Gala
Our tenth anniversary Gala will take place at Lakeside Hotel in Wootton Bridge 5th February from 6pm.

This major fundraising event celebrates ten years of partnership with a host of Island-based Moldovan, British and other supporters, and will feature entertainment from Moldovan musicians, and dancers, an auction and a casino.

The Moldovan Ambassador to the UK, Her Excellency, Mrs Angela Panamoriov will join up to 150 guests.

Dunford: I thank them all from my heart
Founder and CEO Victoria Dunford, BEM says,

“Without our growing community of volunteers, supporters, sponsors and donors, we would not have been able to achieve what we have in ten tumultuous years. I thank them all from my heart.”
