Well done to friend of VB, Richard Hodgson from the Isle of Wight Cheese Company.
Once again, the cheese maestro has picked up International awards for his delicious cheese.
In the 20th anniversary of the World Cheese awards, Isle of Wight Soft and Gallybagger (a favourite with our guest writer, Kurt Ganzl) both scored well, beating hundreds of competitors for the bronze medals.
Cheesy Rich (as he’s become lovingly known as here at VB HQ) shared his good news with the world last night through Twitter.
It’s not the first time the company has been recognised for their produce, less than a year after packing in his job in the media, Rich picked up the Fortnum & Mason Trophy for Best English Cheese 2007.
Congratulations to Rich and the rest of the team.
