News reaches us that the much-trumpeted Pandemic flu Website launched yesterday, didn’t have the details of Isle of Wight pharmacies on it.
The 16 Island pharmacies that are offering antiviral drugs were left out of the system somehow, so the advice incorrectly given by the Website was to pick medication from Portsmouth or Southampton – not the best idea.
The Island MP, Andrew Turner, has been on to the official in charge and he tells us that the mistake should be corrected on the Pandemin Flu Website today.
