Lord Kennedy of Southwark was on his feet in the House of Lords yesterday asking how many people had registered a civil partnership around the UK.
Included in the answer were details about the Isle of Wight, so we thought you might be interested to see the numbers too.
The figures available only go up to 2009, but it’s of note that all but the first year, the numbers of female civil partnership exceeded the number of male ones.
