Isle of Wight coastal route: Here are two of the latest proposed changes that have been approved

Some of the changes to the Isle of Wight coastal access route proposed by Natural England have been approved by the Secretary of State.

The latest changes to be approved relate to sections on the Binnel Bay to The Orchard, St Lawrence route and the Headon Warren to Widdick Chine, West Wight route.

Binnel Bay route

In both cases the coastal route has been modified to bypass an area of the path that has been lost to a landslip. The new routes are deemed to be less susceptible to erosion.

You can see the changes and further details in the document below (also available on the Gov.uk Website). The second document is the Secretary of State’s responses to representations.
