The Isle of Wight College have issued an announcement advising students to avoid travelling to the College today.
A spokesperson for the College told News OnTheWight,
“Our Principal has recommended that staff and students do not travel unless absolutely necessary.
“We will review this message again at lunchtime.”
The announcement follows a night of very heavy rain, two weather warnings and eight flood alerts around the Isle of Wight.
