Independent councillors release their alternative budget which sees amongst other things, a return to an affordable residents' parking permit, reinvestment in adult and social care, lifeguards for main seaside resorts and redevelopment of library support.
In last night's annual budget vote at the Isle of Wight council, the Independent Labour councillor attracted two Conservative votes for his budget amendment, including the abstention of another two Conservative councillors.
