Isle of Wight eateries: From zero to five, how did they rank for hygiene ratings?

Inspectors have been busy over the summer months rating Isle of Wight hotels, cafes and restaurants for their cleanliness.

Each food-producing or storing business on the Island is inspected by environmental health officers from the Isle of Wight Council, checking to see how hygienic facilities and conditions are as well as food handling practices and procedures.

Eateries are then ranked from zero (the worst) to five (the best).
