Spoof online news site, The Daily Mash, has a playful jest featuring the Isle of Wight today.
‘Cameron to invade Isle of Wight’ is the title of an article detailing the secret plans that Prime Minister David Cameron has drawn up to boost his popularity with an island-based war.
Playing on the news surrounding the Falkland Islands, the article explains that members of the PM’s local Conservative Association would be parachuted in to seize control of key amenities.
We love the description beneath the image of the Alum Bay chairlift which reads, “They will land on the beaches, then take the chair lift”.
