Tomorrow sees the return of the Annual Isle of Wight Hedgelaying Competition an event that has captured our interest over the last couple of years.
Every year it moves location and tomorrow you’ll need to head out to the beautiful location of Dunsbury Farm in Brook if you want to catch the action.
Kicking off at 10am the competitors will be busy creating their hedges until 3pm with the prize giving taking place at around 3.30pm.
The quality of craftmanship at this competition is extremely inspiring.
As hedgelaying virgins a couple of years ago, we were fascinated by the techniques and skills required to create these wonderful additions to the countryside.
