The second Newport Repair Cafe takes place the coming weekend (16th October).
Hosted in the Quay Arts conference room off the main cafe, the Repair Cafe offers people the chance to take in broken items for repair that might otherwise end up on the scrap heap.
A range of repairs
As part of the Repair Cafe ethos you’ll have the chance to learn how to do your own repairs – and even get involved in the repair itself.
This month offers the chance of general/wood repairs, textile, jewellery and electrical.

The Repair Cafe takes place on Saturday 16th October at Quay Arts Centre, Newport between 10am and 1pm.
Sign up to the Repair Cafe newsletter and make sure you book your session beforehand. Walk-ins are permitted, but be aware the repairers might not be able to get to you in time.
