The Isle of Wight Bus and Rail Users’ Group has invited residents to attend a public meeting in Newport later this week.
The group says the event will give Islanders a chance to ask questions and share their views on local transport services.
Who will attend
Those attending will have the opportunity to put their points directly to Richard Tyldsley, General Manager of Southern Vectis.
Mark Dunn, General Manager of Island Line, will also attend the session.
Stewart Chandler, Transport Strategy Manager for the Isle of Wight Council, will join the panel.
Public meeting details
The meeting will take place on Saturday 24th January 2026 at 11am.
The venue is the Methodist Church on Quay Street in Newport.

The organisers say everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
They confirm that admission will be free.
