Nina Ross

Isle of Wight singer, Nina Ross, heads to Ventnor Fringe Festival

Following her successful concert at Northwood House, Cowes in May, Ventnor Fringe Festival regulars, Vaguely Sunny, present Nina Ross and her accomplished band.

Nina brings an engaging repertoire of jazz with an air of folk, strong on storytelling.

Enjoy a pared down relaxed approach as Nina delivers a set of known and less well-known songs from the American songbook such as Round Midnight, Nature Boy and I’m A Fool to Want You, along with a jazz approach to contemporary songs by Portishead, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell and Plastic Mermaids.

Nina Ross

Nina’s band includes Tom Barker on piano, Jon Thorne (from Yorkston / Thorne / Khan) on double bass and Chris Jones (from Plastic Mermaids) on drums.
