Our good friends over at the superb Virtual Festivals Website managed to pop the question to John Giddings at the weekend.
No, they didn’t want to join in matrimony, but rather, were very keen to know who John fancied for the lineup in 2010 at The Isle of Wight Festival.
So who was on the list?
Well, we all know how much John would love to have Oasis play. Chitter chatter was abound last year and despite some reliable sources saying otherwise, something must’ve put a spanner in the works, as it was soon dismissed as rumour.
Speaking to Virtual Festivals, John said how much he’d love to have Oasis play in 2010 and apparently their manager was at the festival so who knows, perhaps some negotiations took place before the clean up started.
Some others also on the list included The Killers and Kings Of Leon. The legendary Chuck Berry who played Camp Bestival last year is definitely a name that John Giddings reckons could add the right touch of blues to the Festival.
Anyway, pop yourselves over to Virtual Festivals Website to see who else might be on the list for next year.
