It’ll be a great shame to see Jo leave Quay Arts after doing such a great job of securing a rescue plan. We wish her the very best of luck in whatever she goes onto do. Ed
Quay Arts Centre is preparing for a change in leadership following the announcement that Director Jo Cowan is leaving at the end of the year.
Jo, who has worked at Quay Arts for over six years, and been in post as Director for two says, “I have hugely enjoyed my time working for the Quay and feel very privileged to have worked with such talented and enthusiastic people from across the Island.
“Having consulted with stakeholders, developed a new business plan and secured the necessary financial support from the Arts Council, I am confident the time is right to hand over and allow someone else to take the organisation to the next stage.”
Mike Fisher, Chair of Trustees says, “We thank Jo for her contribution and commitment – during her time as Director she has lead the organisation through a period of great change.
“She leaves the Quay clear in its new direction and, through securing significant financial support from the Arts Council, the ability to implement the transition. We wish her every success in her future endeavours.”
