Join the end-of-summer celebrations at Arreton with fete and dog competition

Arreton Cricket Club is gearing up for two exciting events next month, aimed at raising funds for the club and celebrating the end of the summer season.

Residents and visitors can enjoy a variety of activities on Saturday, 14th September 2024, from 11am to 3pm at the club’s grounds on Heasley Lane, Arreton.

End of Summer Fair
The End of the Summer Fair promises a fun-filled day for all ages, with free entry for everyone. Look forward to a range of attractions, including a bouncy castle, vintage amusements, and an assortment of stalls.

There will be live entertainment throughout the day, alongside a BBQ to satisfy hungry visitors. Special guests are also expected to make an appearance, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Games and a raffle will be part of the day’s activities, with plenty of prizes to be won. With so much on offer, the fair is set to be a fantastic community event.

Dog Show delight
In addition to the fair, this year’s event will feature a Dog Show, sponsored by Amores Paws Dog Grooming. Dog owners are invited to register their pets from 11am, with the show kicking off at 1pm.

The entry fee is £2 per dog, and there are plenty of categories to compete in, including Best Handler, Waggiest Tail, Best Male, Best Bitch, and Best in Show. Prizes will be given to all participating dogs, making it a delightful event for pet owners and animal lovers alike.
