Congratulations to chef Justin Brown and his team at Farringford in Freshwater for picking up two AA Rosettes.
It was no secret when they opened on 14th February that Justin was aiming for a Michelin star and AA Rosettes.
On news of the Rosettes, Justin told VB, “The whole team feels very honoured and proud and we all feel this is a massive achievement. We are well on our way to the goals we have set ourselves.”

He went on to say, “High quality, fresh, local and our own produce keeps us motivated in designing and creating new and exciting dishes. We would like to thank all our customers and everyone who had supported us. Thank you.”
According to the AA Website, two Rosettes are awarded for “Excellent restaurants that aim for and achieve higher standards and better consistency. A greater precision is apparent in the cooking, and there will be obvious attention to the selection of quality ingredients.”
