If you’re keen on learning more about astronomy, then these two talks being held in Ryde this week should be right up your street.
Ian Ridpath, Editor of the Oxford Dictionary of Astronomy and Norton’s Star Atlas will be giving a talk tonight (Tuesday) at The Orrery, Union Street, Ryde on the Story of the Stars.
Tomorrow evening (Wednesday), at the same venue, he’ll be tacking The Planets.
Tickets for each talk are £5 or £8 for both evenings available from Splash in Union Street or by calling 616 257.
Arrive at 7pm for take-off at 7.30pm
