Explore the West (Wild) Side Story of the Isle of Wight Biosphere on Saturday 24th September (11am – 4pm).

The Common Space and Arc are co-hosting this gentle exploration of West Wight’s wildlife and landscape as part of the UNESCO Sites Across the Channel programme and with thanks to EU Interreg funding secured by the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty towards encouraging sustainable tourism in Biosphere sites.

What to expect
A family day out, the Fort Vic Foray brings with it a chance for:

  • Wildlife Discovery and Natural History
  • Birdwatching and Woodland Works
  • Seagrass, Seashore and Fossil Walks

Meet representatives from The Common Space, IW AONB, Fort Victoria Country Park Ranger, Nature Works, Project Seagrass, Zoologica, Wight Coast Fossils, iWatchWildlife and more.

Limited parking
Please note that parking is limited at Fort Vic and in any case, it’d be great to get there without a car, share a lift, take the bus or have a hike.

The team at Fort Vic have compiled all the ways to get to there as greenly as possible.
