I write this as I cannot forget yesterday’s Politics Live (2/7). The presenter Jo Coburn asked the panel,
“Who said? ‘Labour don’t deserve to win. The Tories deserve to lose. Nobody elects a divided party. Arguably weak leadership, sleaze, a poorly run campaign, not enough emphasis made on the economy, employment, health and education reforms, mismanagement of crises.’”

Perhaps we can only counsel,
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
Whatever happens, we’ll have to wait until all votes are counted, and then hope that things can change for the better.
