The Venue at Ryde Theatre seems to attract the very best in tribute bands and this weekend is no exception. Well that’s if you’re a Thin Lizzy fan.
Limehouse Lizzy are regularly hailed as “the best Thin Lizzy tribute band in the world” by press and admirers alike.
Apparently they deliver an irresistible blend of energy and passion in a show that is immaculately choreographed and polished, complete with mirrored Lizzy backdrop, police lights, smoke and sirens.
If you head up to Ryde on Saturday night you’ll be treated to the Greatest Hits of Philip Lynott & Thin Lizzy such as; “The Boys are back in Town”, “Sarah”, “Dancing in the Moonlight”, “Whiskey in the Jar”, “Waiting for an Alibi”, “Out in the Fields”, “Parisienne Walkways”, “Don’t believe a Word”, “Still in love with You” and “Jailbreak”, and also get to hear choice album cuts which are always appreciated by the ‘Lizzy diehards’.
Tickets are priced at £10 in advance, £12 on the door and rocking lifts off at 7.30pm.
