The County Press and Isle of Wight Radio are holding their Isle of Wight Hustings at St George’s Park from 7pm tonight (Wednesday).
300 tickets were made available to members of the public and snapped up in record time, leaving many disappointed at missing out on the chance to see and hear candidates in person.
Live coverage
Worry not, OnTheWight will be reporting live from the Hustings. Depending on mobile reception, we’ll try some live video via Periscope (although mobile reception is very bad), but we’ll also be adding live text updates below.
In addition, Isle of Wight Radio is streaming the audio from the event live on the radio – tune into 107 or 102fm – depending on which part of the Island you’re in.
Who’s taking part?
All six candidates were confirmed to be taking part tonight. They are:
Stewart Blackmore (Labour)
David Goodall (LibDem)
Vix Lowthion (Green)
Iain McKie (UKIP)
Ian Stephens (Independent)
Andrew Turner (Conservative)
