Council sets their budget for the coming year

Members of the Isle of Wight council have gathered for the 2018 budget setting meeting. OnTheWight will be reporting below on the proceedings.

As well as the Conservative administration’s budget proposal (with £7.4m of cuts to services), the Liberal Democrat and Green councillors have approved budget amendments under consideration by members.
