Unemployed? Drop in between 9am-5pm to the volunteer run help and advice sessions on Thursdays mornings. Get help to write CVs and apply for jobs online.
Do you know anyone who needs help with reading and writing? The Isle of Wight College are offering free classes at Ventnor Library if there are sufficient numbers – ask the Library staff if you or a friend are interested.
Do you know anyone whose first language is not English, and who would like to come to “chat” with others who can help … ask at the Library or pop in to the 9am-5pm session on a Thursday morning.

Superhero MaskMaking
On Monday 28th October 11am-1pm, Tanith will be leading a free Superhero MaskMaking session.
Suitable for all the family with a lower age limit of 4. All children must be accompanied by an adult – think about it – who is your superhero?
Halloween Readings
Wednesday 30th October 7.30pm-9pm. come and read from your favourite ghost stories and spooky tales.
Adults only, bring a torch or any other prop you’d like. Please bear in mind that a lot of us will want to read so keep it short. The wonderful Friends of Ventnor Library will provide refreshments – all donations gratefully received!
