From this coming Sunday (25th), until the 8th October, many people across the Isle of Wight will be taking part in mega-fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Lyn Blackledge, who is involved in organising events across the Island, tells us that it’s timed to coincide with the nationwide coffee morning which you may have been along to in past years.
Masses to choose from
Many of the small businesses have already committed to hosting events and individuals are also getting involved.
There are pub quizzes, a fossil hunt, coffee morning, tea afternoons, photo-shoots, pamper sessions and a Last of the Summer Wine evening.
There will be raffles too. The list is endless, so how will you get involved?
All the money raised is staying on the Island.
