The Mad for Sadness event returns to the cafe at Quay Arts this Wednesday night.
Bestival PR, Simon Blackmore, will be heading back to the Cafe in Quay Arts with his trusty collection of eclectic tunage.
Although Simon’s playlist contains contemporary artists such as Paul Weller, Bat For Lashes, Bon Iver and Elbow he’ll also be playing his old time favourites from the likes of Lee Hazlewood, Scott Walker, David Bowie, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys and Bob Dylan.
The first event was a success with a really chilled out atmosphere in great surroundings.
If you fancy meeting up with friends mid-week for a chinwag, this is certainly the place to head. We’re told that there may also be a food menu of tapas this time as well.
Friends of Quay Arts get in for free otherwise it’s £4 on the door.
