Repairs to the ferry berth at Yarmouth Harbour are now well underway.
The maintenance project is being carried out by Yarmouth Harbour Commissioners (YHC) and Wightlink and expected to take four weeks to complete.
According to YHC, staff from both organisations have been engaged in a training exercise this week during which they were tested to the full.
Everything went ahead as planned and the barge ‘Walcon Wizard’ has arrived to start the repairs.
For the duration of the works, the C-Class ferry will use the main slipway in the Harbour.
