Wolverton Manor, Shorwell will provide a stunning backdrop to a new and exciting Island event.
Wolverton Folk Fair takes place over the May Bank holiday weekend, on Sunday 29th May 2011.
The family friendly event will include tented cafes, serving an interesting variety of freshly cooked local produce.
Great musical lineup
The live music stage will provide a full programme, featuring the best of the Island’s Folk musicians, from acoustic duos to full electric bands, including The Dance Preachers, Whiskey River Band, Revenge of the Lawn, Beachcomber, Moonshiners, Grizzled Skipper, The Herd, Sandra O’Toole, Cardinal Richelieu and more TBA.
Not just music
With an IW real ale beer tent, BBQ, Tea tent serving cream teas & cakes plus children’s activities, the first Wolverton Folk Fair looks set to be a celebration of all that’s good about our Island’s local food & music talent.
In aid of Leukaemia Research and Brighstone School.
