Some of the best female footballers will be leaving the Isle of Wight this week and heading to the Isle of Man.
They’ll be taking part in the second biennial triangular Appleby-sponsored UK Offshore Island Women’s Football Tournament.
Joining them in the tournament will be teams from Isle of Man and Jersey.
Team Isle of Wight, made up mostly of players from Shanklin FC will be aiming to re-address their defeats to the Manx team in Aland last year at the Island Games.
