Later, Martin transitioned to the small screen starring as Steve Owen in BBC soap opera EastEnders, going on to appear in countless programmes and films. More recently, Martin can be seen on Celebrity Gogglebox with his son, Roman.
His versatility and evergreen charm have made him a household name in the UK.
