We’re not sure whether the Met Office are lagging behind with this warning given the weather we’ve already experienced since early this morning (don’t they read our twitter feed?), but they’ve just issued a weather warning for the Island last from 1pm to 11pm.
Isolated thunderstorms today may lead to some local torrential downpours. The public should be aware of the risk of some disruption to transport through standing water.
We guess if you’re planning to head out, make sure you take a brolly.
